Wells Cathedral is known for its Gothic style (the first cathedral to adopt such style in England) and has been standing since 1175. Besides its history, the church likes to boast that it is perhaps the most beautiful cathedral in England, and I cannot disagree. The hidden gardens and sprawling grounds are magnificent.

Windsor Castle is an official residence for the Royal Family nestled away in Windsor, England, about 23 miles away from London. A portion of the castle is open for visitors to see and experience the living spaces of royalty. No touching anything of course, but the rooms are gilded with gold and silks.
