Leadenhall Market in London, England

Leadenhall Market is right in the heart of the city, boasting ornate columns and bright bold paint. It dates back to the 14th century and sits in the middle of what was Roman London. Originally peddling meat, poultry, and game, it now houses upscale retailers and unique eateries. It's survived the weathering throughout the years and even the Great Fire. In the early 90's it was extensively restored.

If you're a Harry Potter fan, this site was featured in the first film, depicting London's shops leading to Diagon Alley (fictional place) where Harry makes his wizardly purchases. It's also featured in countless other films. Besides, the details are absolutely exquisite and pictures really don't do this place justice.

Tips
All the shops were closed Saturday afternoon when I visited so be sure to check the schedules for the restaurant or shop you want to visit. It was a perfect photo opportunity for me with the empty hall so I wasn't sad about the shops being closed.
